"Torah" in Judaism has two broad meanings. There's "Torah" in the sense of "Scripture" in general or "The Five Books Of Moses" in particular. And (more often) there's "Torah" in the sense of "Jewish learning," "wisdom" or "stuff a person should know." Drawing upon the second, larger sense of "Torah," torahblog is a blog on topics of Jewish interest.

omerblog is an annual, communal discussion of the spiritual themes of the Omer, the 49-day period from Passover to Shavu'ot. In Kabbalistic thought, each of the 49 days has its own, unique spiritual character and its own opportunity to cultivate middot (human virtues) so that one is spiritually ready to receive Torah on Shavu'ot.
